It is now Tuesday. It has been snowing since Saturday. Isn't that great?
I was lucky enough to arrange rides for all but 3:00 pick-up yesterday, so it wasn't too bad. Today I had the kids get a ride to school and my friend was so nice that she did shifts, since she couldn't fit all of the kids into her car at the same time. I was so thankful! And, I had mentioned I needed milk, so she brought me some.
I was dumb enough, though, to think walking to pick Hannah up at 11:30 was a good idea. I stopped to get the mail and picked up a gallon of milk, and made my way there, with four kids in tow.
HOLY CRAP.
It's not that it was THAT cold, but there was a whipping wind, blowing the fallen snow (and snow still falling) and trying to make our way through the drifts (nothing is plowed), and add to it snow-blindness... it is plain DANGEROUS to be walking with kids in that. ONE kid, manageable... I could have held a hand. But with three kids walking and two in a sled behind me, I was so afraid someone would walk into traffic, a car would slip... you know how it is.

Oh, no thank you on the snow. . .. we had 72 yesterday, 60 today, and 76 tomorrow. . .and I'm loving it.
