Last week I was hanging clothes on the line.
I raked up the yard.
I set out summer furniture.
We sat in sun hats and t-shirts, riding bikes and kicking balls.
And now?
How is it even possible for the weather to shift like this? *brrrrrrr*
I don't think I'd be so bothered if it wasn't also so friggin' cold. I think we're at -18 winds (which, I know, compared to -30 to -40 we can see, isn't bad), and this isn't supposed to let up. At least not for a few days. It is APRIL! April SHOWERS not APRIL FLURRIES! GEEEEEZ!
Hannah is supposed to walk with her class to the swimming pool today. I'm sure the teachers weren't banking on snowpants, and winter boots. What a mess it will be! And C O L D!
Luckily, I managed to get the kids rides at least TO school today, but I'll be walking this afternoon to pick them up. I just hope it stops snowing by then... it has been snowing pretty well non-stop since Saturday. Everything is covered and the roads are snow-covered skating rinks. Of course nothing is shut down. I think I heard that a bus was on its side this morning. Isn't that some indication of what it is like out there??
BAH!
This feels more like Christmas... not Spring.
